Negligible power gains over sound gains?

A cold air intake, particularly one that is bigger than stock, opens up the airflow to allow the engine to breathe better and produce more horsepower. With a naturally-aspirated engine, the power bump is negligible, but the cold air intake will yield anywhere between 10 to 25 horsepower if you’re doing a build on a turbocharged engine. It is recommended to pair it with a tune to optimize the use of the maximize the performance gains. However, most people opt into intakes due to the sound.
